Since 1890, the Naval Order of the United States has actively preserved, promoted and celebrated our nation’s maritime and naval history. We welcome veterans and their relatives of the US Maritime Services, including Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, US Public Health Service and NOAA. If you are being recommended by a current NOUS member, he or she will be your Proposer and assist you in completing the application including a copy of your DD214. Then after the Northwest Commandery Commander signs, it will be forwarded to NOUS Registrar General for final processing. In a few weeks the candidate will receive the official Welcome Aboard Package, and the process is completed.
