CAPT John Laible, USN (Ret.) and Cricket Laible (both pictured below) volunteered to be National History Day Judges in Yakima, WA on 7 March 2020.

High school and Middle school students were judged on the basis of historical quality and depth, demonstration of the relationship between the topic (Breaking Barriers) and theme, and effectiveness of presentation.

Presentations were made in the categories of Exhibits, Performances, Documentaries, Websites, and Papers. Approximately 400 students and judges were involved.
What an incredible event by all involved!
