central theme of this year’s 243rd BDAY and heritage week will be ‘Forged by
the Sea’.” ……. “On 9 October 2018, the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) will
mark the commencement of a week-long Navy Heritage Celebration in Washington,
DC culminating with a commemoration at the National Capital Region
